We have recently completed a Medicine Storage and store room project at Harefield Hospital. Medspace met with Sue Mather – Senior Sister for ITU and worked with her to meet all her expectations and requirements.
Sue had a CQC inspection coming up and had three different requirements that we could help with, one being to maximise the space in their Store room. They currently had a few bays of free standing racking in a room, this room would be ideal for our Metro Top-track system. Top-track is an excellent space saver and would work perfectly for the type of products being stored in this area.
Medspace received the order for this being the most competitive company and including our usual excellent service. The whole team at Harefield are now very happy with their new store room and we have received brilliant feedback.
Medspace prides itself company that can offer a complete bespoke solutions. This ensures our customers are completely satisfied with the final product. Medspace knew we could help further so we had a meeting with ITU / HDU and Pharmacy to look at their Medicine requirements.
Pharmacy confirmed they needed to comply with BS2881 which meant their medicines had to be stored within a space that can take attack for a number of minutes. Compliance to BS2881 would mean a metal cabinet would be required as standard wooden carcass would not fully comply.
